Wow! Lots of changes. First, we have built a whole new site (using Rainmaker) for our primary home base on the web. Owner Media Group exists to help you use content and community to earn more customers. I thought I’d explain a bit about us, about where we are, what we do for you, and clear up any questions you might have.
Who Is Owner Media Group?
That’s a good question. I’m Chris Brogan, CEO. Rob Hatch is President. Ron Hood is our Special Events Coordinator. Beyond that, we work with a varied team of contractors, partners and allies. We are a media and education company based legally out of Massachusetts, with 1/3 of the team located there, 2/3 of the team (and our mailing address) located in southern Maine. There’s no longer a headquarters office. It was weird because people didn’t really come visit us much, so why leave the house simply to go sit at another desk in another building?
What Does Owner Media DO?
We sell courses and other products to help people grow their capabilities and connections. The majority of our business is that. On top of that, I speak professionally as well as do limited consulting with organizations around business and marketing advisory and strategy work. Rob Hatch offers limited coaching (email rob at owner dot media for that), as well.
Who Is the Right Buyer?
We sell to people who consider themselves owners of their life and business, no matter their title. Everyone from the starting employee to the CEO to the entrepreneurial souls of all ages who are out there working hard are who we serve. You could be a corporate person. You could run a pawn shop. Maybe there’s only you in the company or maybe you work with 65,000 close friends. Most of what we offer works well as business-to-consumer, but also translates nicely to business-to-business, as that’s what WE are, a small B2B company.

Every now and again, I even speak to the nice folks in the mainstream media.
